Super Capacitors

Super Capacitors

Supercaps or EDLC (Electric Double-Layer Capacitors) are formed by pairs of conductive plates, usually carbon, separated by a dielectric medium such as an alkali metal. They are devices capable of storing large amounts of electrical energy in the form of electrostatic charges.  They can be charged and discharged at high speed, making them ideal as power supplies for motor starters or supplied voltage stabilisers.

Man Yue Technology Holdings Limited, founded in 1979, was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1997.  The Group’s main activity is the manufacture and sale of high-tech electronic components, including aluminium electrolytic capacitors ("E-Caps"), conductive polymer aluminium solid electrolytic capacitor ("Polymer caps") and other innovative electronic components. It is the fourth-ranked global manufacturer of polymer capacitors. X-CON®.

Continuously innovating, Man Yue introduced a new type of capacitor in 2009, electric double-layer capacitors ("EDLC"), which basically act as an efficient energy storage device in electrical or electronic products.
